About the Role:
We’re excited to welcome a new Teacher Assistant to our team at Buckle My Shoe! The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings a playful and enthusiastic attitude to the classroom, and enjoys partnering with families to help every child thrive.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, supervision, and daily care routines.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Support children’s learning and development through play and positive engagement.
Requirements:
- Oregon Criminal Background Check
- Infant/Child/Adult First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Oregon Food Handlers Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Three references who can speak to your reliability and work ethic (at least one from a previous employer)
- Some experience with children ages infant–3 years old preferred
- Reliable, proactive, and able to multitask
- Comfortable with lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
